My Father lives in this complex and He is fine with it so far , his main complaint is he cannot work out anymore at the fitness center. According to him the weights were stolen over 5 months ago and never replaced, I was with him last month when he asked an employee when they would finally be replaced and she told him they ordered them last week, that does not appear to be true. Hell I am tired of hearing about it can someone please move on that soon? If you guys have and advertise a fitness center it should be operable as advertised.

I've been living here since Aug 2024 and since I've moved in Anna was very welcoming and answered all my questions and was sensitive to my situation but my hat goes off to Mariana since day 1 she has been understanding and works with me in every situation which im completely greatful for. She has been a blessing in my life,truly! I had a few issues that I had to put work orders in but they were out urgently to resolve the concerns. Also, the maintenance guys are nice and resolved my issues that same day. The maintenance guys I see often cleaning the property which is great! Since I've moved in they have improved the apartments by putting on screen doors(which is great I can keep my door open since the weather is beautiful). I can literally go on and on. Yes the apartments are a bit expensive but u get what u pay for. I love my apartment! Thank you Portola team! You guys are great! Please keep up the hard work. It doesn't go unnoticed.

I had a neg review on here but I had to change because I love these apts. I was just not thinking correctly before. I was being bratty. And the ladies that work in the office have always helped me. The place is clean. No bugs Not a loud party place and very seldom do I see homeless ppl around our apartments. I appreciate that a lot.

I just moved in the area again. The office personnel were very friendly and made it simple for my transition. It was very difficult to have to move from a house to an Apartment after two years. However the community is quiet at night and people are friendly!. Not to mention stores are convenient too. Thank you!

Firstly, I must commend Anna and Marianna for being warm and welcoming, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. Great team, back by the efficiency of the maintenance crew. The unit is spacious with abundance of storage space. I have no regrets living here...in fact I'm very pleased, as we feel a great sense of safety here at Portola on Bell.

I have been living here for a few months now and I’m loving it! The apartment is very comfortable and spacious you get more of a house feeling rather than an apartment. Anna and Mariana have been always very Welcoming and helpful since day one from initial application process until move in! Maintenance request are usually done within 24hours or same day. I was very stressed out when I contacted leasing office since I had applied online with a different apartment community and had been approved but last minute they where giving me a hard time because of my 2 pets, i was notified of this 2 weeks before my move to AZ I was in Colorado at that time, that’s when I contacted Portola on Bell and Anna and Mariana stepped in and made sure the process was quick and smooth to make sure I and my pets had a place to come home to by my scheduled move in date! They where amazing and I’m so happy and grateful to live in such nice clean community and even better that the leasing and maintenance staff takes good care of their residents!

Not luxury but well kept. They do a great job of keeping the homeless population off and away from the property. Decent and friendly maintenance man. (Only met one) Pool upgrades needed. Mailboxes need replacement but overall I would recommend. Ask for Anna, she’s the best!!!

Portola Apartments on Bell is a great place to call home… The office staff are amazing and always very helpful with any issue. The maintenance staff takes care of any maintenance usually the same day the grounds are kept immaculate. The units are very nice and comfortable access is easy. They even have handicap accessible units. They have accommodated my every need. and the rent is very reasonable

I've been in a couple of the apartments available. The 2 and 3 bedrooms are big, maintenance responds to work orders in a timely manner, and management is very helpful and friendly whenever I go up to the office! Would definitely recommend this place over others!

Overall a great community! I’ve been living here for 2 years and love coming home everyday. Area feels safe, grounds are always kept clean, and office and maintenance staff are amazing! Only thing I would say needs some upgrading are apartment appliances and gym equipment.

I just had to move from these apartments due to a job change, but they were nice. Sarah and Pat in the office are very helpful. The maintenance staff always do a great job. The location is convenient as you are close to just about everything. The neighbors have always been quiet and respectful of each other.

I've signed on for a 3rd year. The office staff know my family by name, they're ALWAYS kind and courteous. Whenever I have a maintenance issue, they're on it almost immediately -- same day or the next. We had an issue with billing and werent able to pay rent on time once, but they were understanding and did what they could to accommodate.

When I was growing up we did not have social media to complain about every little thing that we did not agree with. Do you make mistakes on your job, are your hands tied on some issues? I have live here going on 4 years. I don't agree with everything Pat the manager says but she has an open door to discuss problems. If anybody post a problem with any business online before trying to resolve it face to face, it just like spitting the wind and blaming the wind because you got wet. I WILL TELL YOU THIS, I HAVE HAD MY SHARE THINGS GO WRONG HERE, BUT I WAS NEVER IGNORED WHEN I BROUGHT THEM TO THERE ATTENTION. By the way the reason for the 4 stars is because we are all human.

We lived here for almost 3 years and really enjoyed our time here. Brought two babies home here, made some great friends, and never had any major issues. Pat and Sue were so awesome, we'd stop by several times a week just to say hi! I think as long as you realize it's an apartment complex with the usual issues and aren't expecting a luxury experience free of any problems, you'll be fine. :)

My husband and I have lived here for almost 2 years. It has been a great apartment to us! The grounds are very well kept. Our apartment is a great size and wonderful price. Any issues we have had have been promptly corrected by the maintenance team. The apartment above had a little problem with one of their pipes that damaged our wall. It reported and completely fixed within 2 days! Pat and Sue have been great to work with! We had some noise problems with a neighbor, and they were able to work and end the noise problem. Each of them have been in the business for years and know how to run a complex. This is a great community for families because of the monthly activities, free movie rental in the office, and close location to a park.

Lived in Arizona for a year while my boyfriend was attending MMI. Pat and Sue were amazing, they were there for us whenever​ we needed ANYTHING. (we called them our moms away from home). Every Sunday we had community breakfast in the clubhouse, without that we would have been so lonely. I truely recommend Cantamar apartments to anyone looking for a great community.

I love the community. The people are always helpful and do their best always. I recently had an experience where Jacob on the maint team went far above and beyond the call of his duty to help a resident and it was very very appreciated. I love living where I know the people care and are always willing to do what they can to help residents. I love my apartment and have not really had any issues. The one I did have with a leaky roof during a rainstorm was fixed immediately. We will probable renew for one more year and then look for a house. It's not gated but I have never had any issue with vandalism or theft or even with seeing someone shady lurking. It just doesn't happen at Cantamar. Small community which I love. Lackluster fitness center but Im no fitness queen so I am able to live with this. Haha,,,,

We've lived at Cantamar for the last 3 years and absolutely love it! Our apartment is spacious and well-kept, and the grounds are maintained nicely too. Our appliances were pretty new, and energy efficient. When we've had any issues, we've notified the office, and they've responded to us within a reasonable amount of time with a fix! Sue and Pat in the office are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and Rene in maintenance has a good sense of humor! The apartments are close enough to the freeways and anything you could need like grocery stores and movie theaters, but also tucked in between a residential area and a strip mall where it's relatively quiet. The police patrol the neighborhoods, and we haven't had any issues with our vehicles or belongings outside on our patio. There's also a pool, hot tub, and workout facility, which are kept up and maintained. We're really glad we've chosen to live here the past few years :)

Nice little community. Neighbors are very nice and the grounds are kept up nicely. Love the pool and hot tub and the covered parking is nice as well. Also like the storage closets in the patios off the apartments. My husband and I have a one bedroom apartment and it is perfect for the two of us. Would recommend this place to anyone. :)
